Volkswagen Vento gets an DOHC, 16 valve petrol engine (codenamed E8111) displacing 1600cc and produces 105PS of maximum power at 5250rpm and 153Nm of peak torque at 3800rpm. Vento gasoline comes with a 5-speed manual transmission (codenamed MQ200) and 6-speed automatic transmission with tiptronic (manual override).
Vento diesel comes witha 1.6L CRDi engine developing 105PS at 4400rpm and 250Nm of torque in the range of 1500-2500 rpm. It also gets 5-speed manual transmission.
