The Tommy Kaira ZZII is a cancelled Concept car originally planned for production in 2001 and unveiled at the 2002 Tokyo Auto Salon as an upgrade to the original Tommy Kaira ZZ. However the car’s design was already taken by Autobacs Seven for the ASL RS01, and the car was shelved. Hence, it never made it into full production.

In early 2022, Tommykaira’s founder, Yoshikazu Tomita, announced that he had been working on a line of Tommykaira ZZIIs. However, this is not yet fully confirmed and further information about it is yet to be seen. For now, to promote the car and the revived brand, the ZZII will be placed in a showroom in Kyoto.
