Thomas Ingenlath born 1964 in Krefeld, Germany, was Chief Designer for Skoda from 2000 to 2005. Before that, he was been chief exterior designer for passenger cars at Volkswagen Design. He was responsible for design of first generation Skoda Superb and production Roomster. From 2006-2012 Ingenlath lead the Volkswagen Design Studio in Potsdam.  

Beginning July in 2012, Thomas Ingenlath takes over as the Vice President of Design at Volvo cars.  He will be tasked with developing the design language started by Peter Horbury and pushing the Volvo brand further forward in the luxury segment. Source: Carbodydesign.com
