Engine and Transmission[]
It is expected that the all new Maruti Suzuki Kizashi is will be powered by the 2.4 litre, 185 hp 4 cylinder 16 valves, DHOC petrol engine and six-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, its another variant which will be equipped with Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), engine has standard 180 horsepower. However, top torque delivery is same for both options that is 170 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The power and torque figures are much impressive as against other sedans in the segment. The engine is designed to house DOHC system that allows more comfortable breathing of the engine thereby the mill becomes more fuel efficient and powerful. The optional Continuously Variable Transmission and all wheel drive variant is far better than manual transmission. As per the details available at Maruti Kizashi
