The Maserati Kubang is a crossover SUV from Maserati which was first revealed in 2003, then officially presented at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The vehicle is based on the platform of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but is equipped with a typical Maserati body with a prominent grille, front fender vents and LED headlights. 2013 model year production will be at Chrysler's Jefferson North Assembly in Detroit.
Maserati is very enthusiastic about their new unveiled model and wrote that "with the birth of every new Maserati car, Maserati itself is reborn."The engines will be produced by Chrysler and by Ferrari.
. The upcoming Levante SUV, which is based on the Kubang, will be available in 2017.
