Recent Changes[]
- For 2011, The Traveller Clubman are getting a mid-cycle facelift to bring it into line with the design language of the newly released Mini Countryman. [1]
- The Italian Job: MINI Reveals Clubman Soho Special Edition. Prices start at €19,900 (US$27,100) for the One model and €28,900 (about US$41,500) for the Cooper S.
- Not yet even on sale in most markets, the Mini Clubman has already received range of factory-backed accessories and performance upgrades by John Cooper Works (JCW). The Mini Clubman JCW is slated to be officially debuted at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. It will pack the standard 1.6L turbocharged petrol engine with a small boost pressure increase that will see output jump to 192hp from 175hp with peak torque coming in at 270Nm. 0-62mph is expected to take just over six seconds. Other goodies include unique exhaust pipes, racing stripes, carbon fiber side mirrors and bonnet scoop, 18in alloys and blacked out taillight surrounds. Options will come in the form of carbon fiber trim for the interior and F1-style shift lights for the instrument panel. [2]

- RECALL ALERT: On October 7, 2008, MINI issued a recall alert affecting 560 MY2009 MINI and MINI Clubman John Cooper Works models fitted with 16 inch diameter front brake discs due to an abnormally quick fade lifespan under conditions of intense brake usage. MINI dealers will inspect the front brake discs and pads and, if necessary, replace them free of charge. BMW has also set up a hotline for owners at 1-866-275-6464.[3]
