Italdesign-Giugiaro S.p.A (commonly called Italdesign) is an automobile design and engineering company in Turin, Italy. The company was founded in 1968 as Studi Italiani Realizzazione Prototipi, working closely with Volkswagen. Today, the company is known for the work of its subsidiary, Giugiaro Design, home of famed automobile designer, Giorgetto Giugiaro. However, Italdesign also does automotive engineering, prototyping, and testing.

On May 25 2010, Volkswagen AG officially acquired a 90% stake in the company which heretofore has been owned outright by the Giugiaro family. The family has been left with 10% ownership.
