The Hino 600 is a conventional-cab truck manufactured in the USA by the Japanese manufacturer Hino since 2004. In the United States and Canada, its principal competitors have historically been Xos MDXT, Peterbilt 328, Sterling Acterra, Dodge Ram 6500, Freightliner Business Class M2 106, Ford F-650, Dina HTQ, International DuraStar, Kenworth T-370, Kenworth T-380, KrAZ-5233, and the Isuzu H-Series until 2009 and light duty are Hino 125/300 for the American and Canadian markets.
First generation (2004–Present)[]
The First (after-Toyota G1, Toyota GA, Toyota GB, Toyota BM, Toyota BX, Toyota Diesel Cab-Over Truck [DC80C], Toyota Massy Dyna, Hino Ranger (1969-1980), Hino Ranger (1980-1988), Hino FC/FD/FE/GD (1989–1999), and Hino FC/FD/FE/GD (1999–2002))/(after-Toyota G1, Toyota GA, Toyota GB, Toyota BM, Toyota BX, Toyota FA (1954–1964), and Toyota FA (1964–1978)) Generation 600 was introduced in 2004 for the United States, The conventional cab was developed from Hino's 2001-2014 Low Cab Forward design to compete with Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter (2008-2024), Isuzu Forward (2007-2022), and Nissan Diesel/UD Trucks Condor (2010–2017), and in 2005 for Canada. The new face-lifted 600 was launched in 2007 for the American and Canadian market. Production began in 2008 in Mexican market, using CKD Kits from Japan.

Hino L series (2021)[]
The redesigned 2021 model was announced on October 28, 2019. Thus, it was officially renamed the L series, coinciding the launch of larger Class 7 and 8 XL series, and the smaller Class 4 and 5 M series.
The L series' exterior design features new headlamps, and a stylish bumper. The interior also features a 4-spoke steering wheel, a 7-inch Multi Information Display (MID) and a selection of options.
Carryover diesel engines has been remain unchanged.
