The Chevrolet Venture is a minivan sold by General Motors' Chevrolet division in the Philippines. Introduced in 2002, the Venture is similar to the Buick GL8. Unlike other GM minivans, a roof rack was never offered. It was redesigned for van; however, been primarily it has a more aerodynamic look than its Chinese counterparts, the Buick GL8 and Nissan Elgrand it in Japan.
Performance[]
Chevrolet Venture in the Philippines has the GM's 3000 SFI V6 (LW9). Its a 3.0 Liter V6 placed transversally under the hood Powering the Front Wheels with 171 HP at 5200 RPM and 250 Nm of Torque at 4400 RPM, Shifting gears with a 4-Speed Automatic with Overdrive. The Venture has a Fuel Tank filling up 95 Litres of Lead-Free/Unleaded Fuel.
Acceleration Data is still unknown. But if you rely on the GL8's 0-60 data of 16/15.2(test from Auto-Data) seconds, its quite fair... Also because the GL8 and the Philippine Market Venture are very similar because of their body, drivetrain, and the engine.
