The Buick Lucerne is a concept car that was unveiled at GM's "Teamwork and Technology" expo in New York in 1988. It was a front-wheel drive, four-seat coupe that was powered by a 165-horsepower 3.8 liter V-6 engine.
The Lucerne was initially shown as a two-door coupe, but was later turned into a convertible and toured the auto show circuit in 1990. The Lucerne did not reach production, but the 1995 Buick Riviera mimicked the smooth lines of the Lucerne coupe.
