The Aurora 122 C is a sports car Brazilian, which was manufactured by Aurora Projetos Automobilísticos Ltda. of Valinhos (SP), in 1992. Developed by Oduvaldo Barranco, with the collaboration of two other Argentinean constructors, Raúl Napoli and Ladislau Haida, the model was presented in 1990, in the XVI Salão do Automóvel, but only as a scale model. In the following Salon, it was presented in its definitive version. It was a two-seater sports car, rear-wheel drive, with a 2.0 engine from the Chevrolet Monza, transversely mounted in a central position, with an increased cylinder capacity of 2,184 cc and equipped with a Garret turbocharger, generating 214 hp of power. The car had no trunk, it came accompanied by a luggage set tailored to the available space behind the seats[1][2].
Due to the opening of imports in the government of Fernando Collor, the company closed its activities in 1993, as well as many other small Brazilian vehicle manufacturers.
